One of the most annoying things I am seeing recently around our school is that students complain way too much about Pembroke. Almost every day now I hear “God this school sucks” or “I hate Pembroke,” and its disconcerting in a way.
Pembroke is not that bad, and seriously, how bad can it be to live in a upper middle class small town in the suburbs of Boston? These kids either need to get a grip on reality, or just need to get a smack in the mouth.
If a student truly does feel like this about Pembroke, then why aren’t they doing anything about it! Its not enough to constantly complain about the school and the town. Find what is so bothering, and fix it!
If these spoiled brats could take a look around them and not just care about when they get to leave this town, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for them to live here.
And where are the parents of these children? Did they honestly not teach them how to respect and be grateful for everything they have?
There is a brand new school in this town, and yes, it may need slight touch up here and there, but don’t let your children run around talking about how much they just want to leave this “hellhole.”
Grow up, and if there are students out there who legit do not like this place, then please, by all means go complain to your parents and get the heck out.

What exactly is your problemwith these people? You might be more specific about what you hear in the halls. You do give quotes, but what are "they" talking about? Teachers at Pembroke High School? Classes? Administrative policies? Are they complaining about the town itself? Tax rates? Property values? Zoning regulations? What, exactly, sucks? If you want to comment on a situation, focus on what exactly you want to address.
